The Orlando Magic are hosting a free open practice today, and many local fans are flocking to the Amway Center to get their first glimpse of the team. Considering it was doubtful a month ago that the NBA would even have a season, basketball fans are geared up to see some actual NBA action, even if it's only a preseason practice.
↵The Magic have also asked fans to show their support of Dwight Howard, hoping that some local love will help sway Howard into choosing to remain with the Magic. This seems doubtful, considering that Howard has stated his trade requests multiple times over the past few weeks, but it doesn't hurt to try.
↵Many fans are lining up outside the Amway Center with Howard signs and jerseys, but this display of appreciation may take the cake as the coolest and most creative:
