Celtics Vs. Heat: Late Boston Run Cuts Miami's Lead To Eight After Three Quarters

While it wasn't as high-scoring as the first two quarters, the Miami Heat still managed to get up and down the floor and add to the growing highlight package in the third quarter of Tuesday's game against the Boston Celtics. Miami leads 91-83 after 36 minutes at American Airlines Arena. LeBron James leads all Miami scorers with 24 points, adding nine in the third quarter, which included yet another fast break alley-oop from Dwyane Wade. Wade finished the quarter with 21 points, while Chris Bosh has 16 and eight boards.

While Miami's blistering shooting percentage cooled off slightly in the third, Boston continues its hot shooting from behind the arc. The three pointer has kept the Celts in the game thus far, as they have hit 10 of 14. Ray Allen is five of seven, and leads all scorers with 25 points. Four turnovers by Mario Chalmers in the first minute and half let Boston right back into the game, cutting the Miami lead from 15 to three points.
