Florida held the lead for a bit, but Arizona rallied back and took the lead once again. Again Florida took the lead with a short run late in the game. After a controversial foul call that gave Arizona Wildcats Solomon Hill three shots on the free throw line, the game was sent into overtime.
In overtime, the Gators defense stifled the Arizona offense as the Gators went to the 78-72 victory. Patric Young led the way for the Gators with 25 points and 10 rebounds. The Wildcats got a nice night from Jesse Perry with 23 points and 7 rebounds.
