Lightning Hope To Break Losing Streak At Toronto

The Lightning have dropped six of their last seven games - two against bottom feeder teams. With only thirteen games left in the season, now is a bad time to struggle.

The Toronto Maple Leaves will be a formidable opponent. As our partners at Raw Charge have noted, this game will be reminiscent of a similar match up two years ago. Tonight, the Lightning go for the series sweep. It is more likely that the potential of hurting the rising Toronto's playoff chances that will motivate the Bolts, but the opportunity to land a sweep and break this losing funk will make for an incredible game.

41 year old goalie Dwayne Roloson is expected to be in the net. His last start was the embarassing 2-1 loss to the Ottawa Senators. The Bolts are hoping Roloson will repeat his 2-0 shutout performance from the teams' last meeting on January 25. Since joining the Lightning, Roloson is 13-9 with a .909 save percentage - the teams best among the three starting goalies. He also has the lowest goals against average at 2.60 (comparable to Dan Ellis at 2.93).

Unfortunately, the game will not be televised, but fear not - we will have you covered with a game recap and updates along the way.
