USF Vs. St. John's: Bulls Fight For Big East Tournament Seeding In Regular Season Finale

The South Florida Bulls hit the road this weekend for a matchup with St. John's in New York. Both teams are coming off losses this week, to Pittsburgh and Seton hall respectively. The game will be played on Saturday at 8 p.m. and can be found at WFTS and MSG.

The biggest implication of the game this weekend is seeding in the Big East tournament, which starts March 8 with first-round games in Madison Square Garden.

USF currently sits at 3-14 in the conference, and are second to last in the standings. If they beat the Red Storm they can climb to as high as 13th depending on the outcomes of other games. St. John's is ranked in the AP Poll this week (even though they probably won't be after they lost to Seton Hall), and they are currently 11-6 in conference. With a win and a loss from Syracuse, they can earn an all important bye.

So even though this is the final game of the regular season, both teams have something pretty significant to play for. Should be a good one on Saturday.
