Coach Ricky Hill Has Decisions To Make This Preseason

This update courtesy of Alex Heeren:

After an off-season which saw the sanctioning of the North American Soccer League by the United States Soccer Federation, FC Tampa Bay is finally ready to start playing some soccer. They head to Tampa to challenge the Spartans of UT in the preseason opener.

Many of the footballers playing for the NASL club are trialists – players who will be showing new coach Ricky Hill their best work in an effort to make the club this season. Among them are USF products Yohance Marshall and Javed Mohammed along with former University of Tampa forward Lister Warren.

This will be Hill’s first game as head coach of the club, and will be his first chance to see his players in real game-action. The team will be looking to get off to a good start to their Florida university tour, as they will be playing Florida Gulf Coast, UCF, St. Leo, and USF in the coming weeks (in addition to an exhibition match against Swedish first division side BK Häcken)."
