Tampa Bay Rays Take On The Minnesota Twins Today At 4:10 PM ET

Two struggling righties, Jeff Niemann (0-2, 8.31 ERA) and Scott Baker (0-1, 6.55 ERA), will face off today. The Twins have recently suffered from their inconsistent offense and shaky relief corps, while the Rays have snapped off four straight wins, overcoming there early season struggles to both score and prevent runs.

Today's lineup for the Rays will feature Casey Kotchman starting at first with Dan Johnson getting the day off. Johnson, who has been hitting well lately and made an outstanding catch halfway into the dugout last night, is likely just getting a typical day off and will be available for pinch hitting.

Kotchman, meanwhile, has only managed one hit since joining the Rays in the wake of the Manny Ramirez retirement -- and that one hit was a weak dribbler that slipped between the second and first basemen. The Florida native will look to turn around his fortunes tonight, facing the soft-throwing Baker.
