While there is plenty of uncertainty hanging in the air around the 2011 football season, the NFL is moving ahead with their preseason planning and will be announcing the full season schedule Tuesday night at 7 PM EST.
One of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' games has already been announced, as word was released on Monday that the Bucs and Bears are scheduled to play in the 2011 NFL International Series in London, England. That game will count as a home game for the Bucs, and will be played on Sunday, October 23. However, if the labor situation is not resolved by August 1st, then the game will be played in Tampa Bay.
Depending on how long the lockout goes, this upcoming football season could be abbreviated or may not happen at all, but planning must carry forward if the season has any chance of happening. Releasing the full schedule is one of those important steps, and the NFL draft - which starts next Thursday - is another key component.
