FC Tampa Bay Hosts Atlanta Silverbacks Tonight At 7:00

Happy gameday FC Tampa Bay fans! Tonight your boys are hosting the Atlanta Silverbacks for the first time this season. It’s the first match of a three game homestand, the longest of the season.

Tampa Bay (1-1-1) is coming off of a 0-0 draw against Montreal on the road last week. They kept a clean sheet for the second time this season, with the help of the NASL Defender of the Week. Goalkeeper Daryl Sattler made four saves in his second shutout in three games to earn the NASL honors. FC Tampa Bay is tied for the second-fewest goals allowed this season.

Atlanta is 0-3-0 and in the cellar of the NASL league standings. The Silverbacks defense has allowed the most goals in the league at 5; however FC Tampa Bay has only scored 1 goal themselves. Hopefully the offense can get back on track tonight. The game starts at 7 at Progress Energy Park in downtown St. Pete.
