4 Rays Prospects Take Field In Clearwater For FSL All Star Game Saturday

Clearwater, Florida will be the center of the Minor League Class A world Saturday night as Brighthouse Field will host the 50th annual Florida State League All Star game.

For local Rays fans, the game will showcase the depth of the Tampa Bay Rays system as four players from the Charlotte Stone Crabs made the roster. Infielders Hak-Ju Lee and Greg Sexton, outfielder Brett Nommensen, and relief pitcher Josh Satow all earned the honor of playing in the mid season showcase of the leagues top talent.

Lee, a 20 year old speedster is a shortstop acquired from the Chicago Cubs this past off season in a trade focused around RHP Matt Garza. Lee has catapulted himself to the top of the Rays prospect list by tearing up the FSL to the tune of a .356/.431/.489 triple slash line in 53 games.

Sexton, 26, is making his second FSL All Star Game appearance at third base, where he is amongst the league leaders in RBIs at 55. Brett Nommensen, 24, is making his first All Star game appearance, and Satow is making his second.
