Jags Week 2: Jets In Control, Up 15-3 At The Half

The Jets-Jags game has taken an unfortunate turn. Through the first two quarters, Jaguars quarter Luke McCown has been sacked for a safety and has tossed two picks as the Jets have burst to a 15 to 3 lead over the Jaguars.

One bright spot of the first half has been the Jags defense -- namely its ability to generate takeaways from Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez. So far, William Middleton and defensive end Matt Roth have both produced interceptions against the lately pass-happy Jets' offense.

Also, Maurice-Jones Drew is well on his way to breaking 100 yards rushing in the game -- assuming the Jaguars don't get behind enough to warrant a pass-only offense. If the offense can get a touchdown soon, Drew has a chance to take over the clock.
