Florida Vs. South Carolina: Gators Roll To Easy 79-65 Win Over Gamecocks

The No.19 Florida Gators (14-4, 2-1 SEC) turned in a balanced and efficient offensive performance that was simply too much for the South Carolina Gamecocks (8-9, 0-3), easily winning 79-65 Saturday night in Columbia, SC.

Florida shot 53.2 percent for the game, making 25 of their 47 shots. They were 12 of 24 from three point range, and had 19 assists to just 10 turnovers.

Kenny Boynton scored 15 points, knocking down four threes, but he received plenty of help in leading Florida to the conference road victory. Will Yeguete and Bradley Beal each added 14 points, Erik Murphy and Erving Walker chipped in by scoring 11 apiece, and ex-Rutgers star Mike Rosario added 10.

Bruce Ellington, a standout on the Gamecocks football team as well, led South Carolina with 17 points.
