After one half at The Palace of Auburn Hills, the Orlando Magic lead the Detroit Pistons by two. As they have through much of the first week of the season, the frontcourt duo of Ryan Anderson and Dwight Howard paced Orlando on the offensive end. Howard led the Magic with 12 points while Anderson chipped in 11. The Magic were an efficient 56% from the floor in the first 24 minutes against the lowly Pistons.
Ben Gordon got hot for the Pistons, filling it up with 17 in the first. He was able to get into the lane and get to the line, going four of five at the charity stripe. While the Magic have forced 12 turnovers, they will need to ramp up the defensive pressure in the second half to clinch their fifth win in a row.
