If Peyton Manning is cleared to play and made available by the Colts, the Miami Dolphins would be seriously interested in adding the future Hall of Fame quarterback. Omar Kelly of the Florida Sun-Sentinel tweeted Sunday afternoon that the Fins and owner Stephen Ross would love to add Manning, but it's less likely that the quarterback, who would have a choice in where he played next season, would reciprocate the love.
Via Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun Sentinel:
Dolphins are SERIOUSLY interested in Colts QB Peyton Manning if he becomes available, and is cleared to play football again (that's not a given). If you watch the play his brother Eli Manning is providing the Giants this season you'll understand why. Manning would make every aspect of the team better, if he's healthy. But do remember he's going to have control of where he lands, and I happen to think the Manning brothers will be running New York in 2012. One with the Giants, the other the Jets.
The Colts and new general manager Ryan Grigson hold the No. 1 pick in this 2012 NFL Draft, which many predict will be used to select Andrew Luck. That would likely result in the Colts releasing Manning, who would have a number of potential suitors if he is medically cleared to return and play.
