Magic Vs. Celtics Score Update: Woeful Orlando Shooting Results In Ten-Point Halftime Deficit

After one half at the TD Garden, the Orlando Magic trail the Boston Celtics 46-36. It's been a slow-moving slog over the first 24 minutes, with the Magic shooting less than 29 percent from the floor. Dwight Howard has had his way on the inside against the aging frontcourt of Jermaine O'Neal and Kevin Garnett. He has eight rebounds and 14 points, managing to hit six of eight attempts from the free-throw line. Howard drew three fouls on O'Neal in the first half, forcing Doc Rivers to put Garnett on the All-Star. Garnett held Howard relatively in-check.

In his return to Boston, Glen "Big Baby" Davis has six points on two of seven shooting. Davis did get a nice ovation and message on the scoreboard during the first half, as he paused to salute the crowd in the building where he played the first four years of his career. Howard has had little help on the offensive end, as the Magic have been woeful from the floor. Davis is the second-leading scorer with his six points.

Playing without Ray Allen or Rajon Rondo, Paul Pierce has picked up the slack for Boston, scoring 13 points. Orlando will have to shoot better in the second half if they want to get back in it and add a road win against a depleted Celtics team.
