The NFL Regular Season is over, and a handful of teams will continue their quest to the Super Bowl, while the vast majority will watch the proceedings from their respective couches. But before we duck out for the season, we'll take one more look at the 2012 NFL Power Rankings. This time it's an end of the season edition from SB Nation. The Miami Dolphins, surprisingly, are the highest ranked team after finishing 6-10. SB Nation has them at No. 21.
The Dolphins are a quarterback away from being competitive. That's it. This isn't a horrible team and the second half of this season demonstrates that.
The Dolphins showed a lot of promise this year and they can assume a pretty high jump in the rankings next year if they continue to improve, especially under center. The Jaguars were the next team to be ranked, coming in at No. 27. heir outlook is not nearly as strong, however.
A lot of rookie QBs struggle but Blaine Gabbert looked really bad. He'll stick in Jacksonville but their future isn't as promising as I thought after last April's draft.
Bringing up the rear, in a bad way, is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, coming in at No. 30.
10 straight losses to end the season. When you're giving up that many points and losing that many games in a row, you just don't care.
