Interest in Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard remains high as Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski reports the Golden State Warriors "have emerged as aggressive suitors for the NBA’s best center, league sources told Yahoo! Sports."
Howard has been at the center of trade rumors for months, and a number of teams have expressed interest in him. The Magic haven't quite found their cup of tea yet, however, and seem content to sit on his 19.0 points per game, 16.0 rebounds per game and 2.7 blocks for game in the final year of his contract.
Wojnarowski says a deal with the Warriors could be built around guard Stephen Curry, but that a determination will have to be made about how healthy his right ankle is. Curry just suffered the third ankle sprain of his season already, putting his status as a potential building block for the Magic in serious jeopardy, at least in the immediate future.
