Concerns over his knee kept Miami Dolphins running back Reggie Bush from participating fully in Dolphins practice on Thursday as Miami prepares for its Sunday showdown with the St. Louis Rams.
Bush, who has collected 417 yards and three touchdowns over his first five games of the season, had his least productive outing against the Cincinnati Bengals in last week's 17-13 Dolphins victory.
Cornerback Nolan Carroll was also kept to limited participation Thursday, taking it easy on his Achilles injury.
Wide receiver Brian Hartline, who had concerns over a quad injury, and safety Reshad Jones, who was dealing with back and heel injuries, both participated in full.
Running back Daniel Thomas and cornerback Richard Marshall were both held out of Dolphins practice Thursday.
The Rams were also hit by the injury bug Thursday, as wide receiver Danny Amendola (shoulder), linebacker Mario Haggan (thigh), defensive end William Hayes (back) and tackle Rodger Saffold (knee) all sat out Thursday's practices.
