South Florida vs. Louisville: Holtz hints at increased playing time for Bulls underclassmen

USF coach Skip Holtz keys tight end Sean Price and receiver D'Vario Montgomery among those who could see increased playing time.

Coming off four straight losses, the South Florida Bulls will likely turn to some younger faces in the coming weeks, according to Bulls coach Skip Holtz.

When the Tampa Bay Times asked the USF coach to name some of his rising younger players, Holtz was quick to mention that many of his starters have been worked hard in these past few weeks.

"You are going to see some of these younger guys play," Holtz told the Times. "We've got to get more of a rotation going and get more depth on the field (rather than) play these guys 75 plays a game."

Among the players Holtz mentioned as possibilities to plug some of those new spots in the rotation were tight end Sean Price and wide receiver D'Vario Montgomery.

Holtz also keyed some players on the defensive side of the ball.

"[It's] great to see [linebacker] Reshard Cliett coming back. I think he's growing up," Holtz said to the Times. "He's really doing a nice job. [Linebacker] Zack Bullock has made some progress running around. I think [defensive back] Chris Bivins has done some really good things this week."
