Florida International travels to Troy Saturda where the Golden Panthers hope to pick up their first Sun Belt win of the season. FIU (1-6, 0-3 Sun Belt) has lost five consecutive games.
The Golden Panthers haven't won since a 41-38 victory over Akron in Week 2. Defense has been the biggest problem for FIU this season, as the Golden Panthers have given up 37.3 points and 432.9 yards per game, which ranks ninth and 10th in the 10-team conference, respectively.
Troy (3-3, 2-2) is a bit of an oddity. The Trojans are undefeated on the road this year but are still looking for their first home win. They have one of the Sun Belt's best offense, averaging 477.3 yards and 26.3 points per game. Despite sitting on a winless home record, Troy averages 511.3 yards per game at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
The Trojans opened as 4½-point favorites. Kickoff from Troy is set for 1 p.m. ET, and the game will be televised on the Sun Belt Network.
