The Jacksonville Dolphins will put their unbeaten conference record on the line when they host San Diego Saturday at D.B. Milne Field. The Dolphins are tied with three other teams atop the Pioneer League standings.
Jacksonville (6-1, 4-0 Pioneer) has won six consecutive games since a season-opening 58-0 loss to Georgia Southern. The Dolphins lead the Pioneer League in total defense, allowing 324.7 yards per game, and are tied with Drake and Butler for first place in the conference.
San Diego (3-3, 2-1) enters the game having alternated wins and losses this season. The Toreros are coming off a 44-0 thumping of Campbell. Despite having the Pioneer League's worst scoring offense and second-worst scoring defense, San Diego has managed a winning record in conference play through three games and is 1½ games behind the Pioneer leaders.
Kickoff between the Dolphins and Toreros is set for 1 p.m. ET. The game will not be televised.
