The Owls blew a 14-point fourth-quarter lead and fell to the South Alabama Jaguars in overtime, 37-34.
FAU had numerous opportunities to put the game away late, but was unable to capitalize on opportunities to avoid overtime. South Alabama's special teams were an integral part of the Jaguars comeback, with three blocked field goals making the difference late.
