Still looking for their first Big East conference victory, the South Florida Bulls welcome the Syracuse Orange to Raymond James Stadium for a key conference showdown on Saturday.
The Orange are 2-1 in conference play and will look to keep pace in the conference race midway through the season.
South Florida is coming off of a close loss to the Louisville Cardinals last weekend despite quarterback B.J. Daniels' three touchdowns and 189 yards passing. Running back Lindsey Lamar also rushed for 110 yards against the undefeated Cardinals, who were able to just slip the Bulls.
The Orange are fresh off a dominating victory over the Connecticut Huskies in which quarterback Ryan Nassib passed for 251 yards and two touchdowns. Syracuse's 40-10 victory brought their overall record to 3-4 on the year.
