The UCF Knights travel as October comes to a close to take on the Marshall Thundering Herd in a key C-USA showdown that could help dictate the coming weeks in the race for the conference's East division crown.
UCF, which currently leads the divisional race and is undefeated in three conference games, is coming off a convincing win over the Memphis Tigers, as Latavius Murray compiled 192 yards and two touchdowns to go with Blake Bortles' two touchdown passes and 122 yards against the Tigers. UCF has now won three straight games overall.
Marshall, after dropping two straight games, rebounded with a key conference victory over the Southern Miss Golden Eagles as Thundering Herd quarterback Rakeem Cato passed for 340 yards and three touchdowns in the 59-24 victory. Marshall running back Kevin Grooms added 119 yards and two touchdowns in the win.
