Western Kentucky vs. FIU 2012: TV schedule, game time, spread and more

Florida International faces Western Kentucky on Saturday looking for its first Sun Belt win.

Douglas Jones-US PRESSWIRE

Florida International is still looking for its first Sun Belt win and just the second all season when they face Western Kentucky on Saturday night. After 38-37 loss to Troy last week, the Golden Panthers extended their losing streak to six games. Florida International hasn't won a game since Sept. 8; a 41-38 overtime win against Akron.

Western Kentucky boasts a 2-1 Sun Belt record and 5-2 overall. The Hilltoppers are coming off a 43-42 overtime loss to the conference-leading Louisiana Monroe last week. Prior to that loss, Western Kentucky had won four straight games.

Hilltoppers quarterback Kawaun Jakes has four games with three or more touchdown passes and leads Western Kentucky's attack. FIU is giving up 37.4 points a game. The Golden Panthers are going to need the defense to show up big for the team to finally get a conference win.

Game time: 6 p.m. ET

TV: ESPN3

Odds: Western Kentucky is a 7-point favorite against FIU.
