Florida vs. Georgia score: Fumbles put Gators behind 7-0 after 1st quarter

The No. 2 ranked Florida Gators find themselves trailing their SEC East rivals in the Georgia Bulldogs by the score of 7-0, after one quarter of play Everbank Field.

It has been a sloppy first quarter for the Gators, who have turned the ball over twice in the quarter alone. The first turnover came on the very first drive of the game, after sophomore quarterback Jeff Driskel was stripped sacked on the third play of the game.

The turnover gave the Bulldogs excellent field position in Florida's territory and they took advantage of it, as freshman running back Todd Gurley rushed for 10 yards and the score.

It was a sign of things to come for both teams, as turnovers have been common and the Bulldogs have been able to effectively run on the Gators defense.

Both teams know what is at stake in what is the biggest game of the year so far for both teams. A victory for Florida puts them in the SEC championship game, but they will need to comeback against a stout defense first.
