While it was a defensive battle that kept the scoring low throughout the first half, a big play on defense by the Bears opened the score up in the third quarter and dug a big hole for the Jaguars with one quarter remaining.
The Bears began the second half with the ball and took advantage with a drive that lasted over nine minutes. While the Jaguars forced several third downs and even a fourth down, the Bears continued to convert and keep their drive alive. The Jaguars' defense held though and forced a field goal when a pass intended for Brandon Marshall in the end zone fell incomplete.
Down three, the Jaguars responded to the drive in the worst possible with a Blaine Gabbert interception that was severely under-thrown and returned for a touchdown by Charles Tillman.
The Jaguars will need a huge comeback, beginning with a stop of the Bears that are threatening to score again.
