Bovada has released their odds and win totals for the upcoming NBA season.
The defending champion Miami Heat open as the favorite to win their second consecutive NBA title with 11/5 odds. Miami is 5/8 to win the Eastern Conference and the over/under for their win total is set at 61.
The Los Angeles Lakers are 5/2 to win the NBA title while the Oklahoma City Thunder are 9/2. The Chicago Bulls are 14/1 and the Boston Celtics round out the top 5 at 18/1.
The Orlando Magic, who traded superstar Dwight Howard to the Los Angeles Lakers in the offseason, are 150/1 to win the title, 60/1 to win the east and have their win total set at 23.5.
The only teams with worse odds than the Magic are the Cleveland Cavaliers, Detroit Pistons, Sacramento Kings, Toronto Raptors and Washington Wizards at 200/1 and the Charlotte Bobcats at 500/1.
The only team with a lower over/under for their win total is Charlotte at 22.5.
The Heat open the regular season on Tuesday, October 30 when they host the Boston Celtics.
The Magic will get the season underway on Friday, November 2 when they take on the Denver Nuggets at the Amway Center.
