Central Florida will put its unbeaten conference record on the line when the Knights travel to face the UTEP Miners at the Sun Bowl Saturday.
UCF (7-2, 5-0 C-USA) can move one step closer to clinching the Conference USA East Division title with a win. The Knights currently hold a half-game lead over East Carolina, who is off this week. With such a gaudy record, it's no surprise that UCF is having success on both sides of the ball. The Knights' offense ranks third in Conference USA in points (36.7) and fifth in yards (418.8) per game. UCF fields the conference's stingiest defense, allowing 20.9 points and 343.7 yards per game.
UTEP (2-7, 1-4) has struggled on offense this season. The Miners' averages of 369.1 yards and 19.1 points per game rank ninth and 11th in the 12-team conference, respectively. The Miners are a bit better on defense, ranking fifth in points allowed (28.9) and seventh in yards (432.8).
Game date/time: Saturday, Nov. 10, 7 p.m. ET
Location: Sun Bowl, El Paso, Texas
Odds: UCF -12
