Louisiana-Lafayette vs. Florida score update: Gators tied with Ragin' Cajuns 3-3 after one quarter

The Florida Gators are tied with the Louisiana-Lafeyette Ragin' Cajuns 3-3 after one quarter in Gainesville. Florida opened the scoring with a 38 yard Caleb Sturgis field goal less than five minutes into the game. The drive started at the ULL 28 yard line after a Harry Peoples fumble was recovered by the Gators. ULL answered with a 49 yard field goal from Brett Baer with 4:33 left in the quarter to tie the game.

The offenses have been mostly quiet so far. Neither team has amassed more than 100 yards of total offense, and have had a hard time stringing long drives together. In fact, both teams have combined for only three first downs through the first 15 minutes. ULL has the longest play of the day, a 49 yard pass from Terrance Broadway to Darryl Surgent, which lead to their field goal.

Jeff Driskel is 4-6 for 24 yards passing, and leads the team with 36 yards rushing. Omarius Hines is the Gators' leading receiver, with one catch for eight yards.
