This was a disappointing loss for the Hurricanes, who shot just 29 percent from the field. The Eagles shot 49 percent, despite going just 1-for-11 from behind the arc. Gulf Coast went on a 23-2 run in the first half, which gave them a comfortable lead for most of the game.

The Dolphins and Eagles played a close first half, with JU leading 37-30 at halftime. But Jacksonville ran away with this game in the second half, outscoring Trinity Baptist 41-18. Jarvis Haywood led the way for the Dolphins with 16 points and nine rebounds.

The Hatters jumped out to a huge first-half lead in this contest and never looked back. Adam Pegg scored 10 points in the first half (19 overall), helping Stetson to a 49-28 halftime lead.
