Here's a look at the college basketball schedule on Friday for the state of Florida, highlighted by the Florida State Seminoles taking on the BYU Cougars in the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic:
BYU vs. Florida State
The Seminoles look to make it two in a row after starting off the season with a stunning loss to South Alabama. Florida State rebounded from that loss to smoke Buffalo 95-68, and will face a tough test in BYU on Friday night in Brooklyn. Michael Snaer leads the Seminoles in scoring through two games at 14.5 points per game, but he's only shooting 33.3 percent from the field. The Cougars are 2-0 and have gotten great performances thus far from Brandon Davies and Tyler Haws, as both players are scoring 22.0 points per game. 7 p.m. ET on Tru TV

The Hurricanes and Dolphins bring identical 1-1 records into their intrastate contest. After an eight-point win over Stetson in their opener, Miami was upset by Florida Gulf Coast on Tuesday, 63-51. Reggie Johnson leads the Hurricanes in scoring at 14.0 points per game. Jacksonville lost their opener to Georgia 68-62, but smoked Trinity on Tuesday. Keith McDougald and Jarvis Haywood are both averaging 12.5 points to lead the Dolphins. 7 p.m. ET on ESPN3
Maryland-Eastern Shore at South Florida
Both teams will be looking to grab their first win of the season in this USF Invitational contest. The Bulls were blown out in their opener against UCF, although Jawanza Poland had an excellent game with 22 points on 8-of-11 shooting. Meanwhile, the Hawks have struggled to an 0-3 start. The team has scored just 57.0 points per game in the three losses. The game can be watched online with a fee via USF's official website.
