Orlando Magic point guard Jameer Nelson probably won't play Monday night against the Atlanta Hawks. According to John Denton of OrlandoMagic.com, he, like guard J.J. Redick, has come down with an illness.
Denton says Nelson isn't 100%, but put some shots up after having some soup.
Nelson has played in just three games this season. He's averaging 10.0 points, 8.7 assists and 4.0 rebounds per game, but is shooting a dismal 27.3% from the field.
If Nelson can't go, E'Twaun Moore will get the start. Moore has started six of the nine games he's played in, averaging 12.8 points, 4.2 assists and 3.2 rebounds per game.
Redick missed Sunday's loss to the Toronto Raptors and is listed as a game-time decision for Monday's game. Redick has been fantastic this season, averaging 15.8 points, 5.5 assists and 2.3 rebounds per game while shooting 48.9% from the field in eight games this season.
With Redick out Sunday afternoon, the Magic slid leading scorer Arron Afflalo back to shooting guard and started DeQuan Jones at small forward.
