Coastal Carolina vs. Bethune-Cookman 2012: Preview and TV schedule

Bethune-Cookman and Coastal Carolina square off in the first round of the FCS Playoffs this Saturday.

The Bethune-Cookman Wildcats take on the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers on Saturday afternoon in the first round of the FCS Playoffs.

Bethune-Cookman won the MEAC with a spotless 8-0 conference record, and holds a 9-2 record overall. The Wildcats' only losses were to Miami (FL) and Tennessee State.

The Wildcats have been solid on both sides of the ball this season. They are putting up 30.8 points per game, while allowing just 17.7 points per game.

Coastal Carolina finished the regular season with a 7-4 overall record and a 5-1 mark in the Big South. The Chanticleers finished second in the conference to Stony Brook, which won the head-to-head matchup 27-21 on Oct. 13.

The Chanticleers boast a rather explosive offense, as they are scoring 35.2 points per game. However, the defense has been suspect, allowing 26.5 points per game.

Game time: 2 p.m. ET at Municipal Stadium in Daytona Beach.
