The Jacksonville Jaguars made a total of nine roster moves on Tuesday, including placing two members of the current roster on injured reserve.

Running back Jalen Parmele was placed on injured reserve after suffering a groin injury during the first quarter of the Jaguars victory over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. He is joined by cornerback William Middleton, who is out with a concussion. Parmele has 40 rushing attempts for 143 yards on the season. The five-year veteran started two weeks ago against Houston, getting 24 attempts, over half of his career total. Middleton has played in ten games for Jacksonville this season, starting three. The IR designation means that the season is over for both players. Additionally, wide receiver Micheal Spurlock and safety Chris Harris were released from the roster.

The Jaguars signed four players to replace the departures. Replacing Middleton will be fifth-year cornerback Antwaun Molden. A former third round pick out of Eastern Kentucky by Houston in 2008, Modlen last played for the Patriots in 2011, playing in all 16 games for the team last season. Jacksonville has also signed wide receiver Quan Cosby. The fourth year pro out of Texas played in ten games for Denver last season, and spent time with Jaguars offensive coordinator Bob Bratkowski during his time in Cincinnati. In addition, two rookies were signed off practice squads, running back Jordan Todman from Minnesota, and wide receiver Toney Clemons from Pittsburgh.

Rookie defensive end Ryan Davis was also signed to Jacksonville's practice squad.
