Inside MMA Names Two American Top Team Fighters as Prospects to Watch

The longest running MMA TV show, Inside MMA, has named two Florida based fighters on their list of three fighters to watch.

Hosted by Kenny Rice and MMA legend Bas Rutten, Inside MMA is one of the longest running MMA programs and they periodically highlight prospects in MMA with up coming fights. This time they named two American Top Team fighters on their list of prospects to watch in upcoming fights.

The Bosnian born Mirsad Bektic is only four fights into his professional fight career, but he has already impressed with four stoppage wins. Bektic appears to have good power with heavy, if a little wild, hands and an aggressive style. Bektic will be fighting tonight on Axs TV with the Resurrection Fighting Alliance.

Handicapped fighter Nick Newell is a recent addition to the American Top Team family, but is known to some fans because of his missing left arm. A crafty grappler Newell is something of a submission ace and has won all eight fights in his career against fully able fighters. He will be fighting in the main event of a December 7th Extreme Fighting Championships.
