JU vs. Butler 2012 results: Bulldogs sneak past Dolphins, 19-16

Matt Lancaster's touchdown run with two seconds remaining saved the day for the Butler Bulldogs, who beat the Jacksonville Dolphins, 19-16, on Saturday in Indianapolis. The Dolphins held the lead for most of the game, but were unable to create much separation from the Bulldogs, and it ultimately cost them.

Jacksonville was held to only 259 yards of total offense on the day. Quarterback Trevius Folston went 19-27 for 144 yards and an interception, and Keith Dawson was the team's leading rusher with 99 yards on 16 carries. Johnnie Hicks had the team's only touchdown.

Lancaster went 23-43 for 260 yards, two touchdowns and an interception to lead Butler, and Dylan Johnson and Zack Wolfe both had touchdown receptions. The Jacksonville defense was able to stifle Butler's running game, which had only 59 yards as a team. However, it wasn't quite enough, as they surrendered a touchdown to Lancaster on the ground at the last minute.
