NFL schedule 2012: Bucs in a must win at New Orleans

The Bucs need to win to keep any glimmer of playoff hope they have left alive.

USA TODAY Sports

It's a must win this weekend for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as they head to the Big Easy to take on the New Orleans Saints. A Bucs loss combined with a win from the Seattle Seahawks and Chicago Bears can mathematically eliminate them from playoff contention as they sit two games out of the final playoff spot with three games to play. The Bucs lost their match-up with the Saints earlier this season by a 35-28 score and are coming off a loss where the Philadelphia Eagles scored the game winning touchdown as time expired.

Meanwhile two teams with almost nothing to play for will face off in South Beach as the Jacksonville Jaguars face the Miami Dolphins. Technically, the Fins aren't eliminated from playoff contention yet but sit in the exact same situation as the Bucs do in the NFC. Sitting at 5-8, the Dolphins trail the Pittsburgh Steelers by two games with three to play and plenty of teams in between.
