The Georgia Bulldogs are favorites in their Capital One Bowl contest with the Nebraska Cornhuskers, and judging by the latest odds, most expect the Bulldogs to take the victory. After opening as 8.5 point favorites, the line now stands at Bulldogs by 10. Georgia holds a narrow advantage on offense (scoring 37.2 points per game to 35.1 ppg by Nebraska) but a considerably wider advantage on defense, giving up 18.8 points per game against 26.2 by the Cornhuskers.
The total for the game is 60 points. Both teams have met that total in five of their 14 games. Nebraska came in over the total in seven of their games, and tied it once. Georgia came in over the total six times in 2012.
Taylor Martinez has made some spectacular plays for the Cornhuskers, but the Bulldogs shut down offenses all season. If Jarvis Jones, Jordan Jenkins and Alec Ogletree can get their hands on him, it should be Georgia's night.
