Tight end Arshad Jackson had offered his verbal commitment to the Auburn Tigers but after Gene Chizik was let go, Jackson decommited. Now, the senior out of The Hampton Lovejoy High School in Georgia could be visiting a number of the best football programs in the Southeast, starting with a visit to Tallahassee and the Florida St. Seminoles.
Jackson will be playing the Seminoles a visit on Jan. 11 with his close friend Davin Bellamy who has been committed to Florida State for some time.
Jackson could also pay a visit to two of Auburn's SEC rivals. The Ole Miss Rebels and South Carolina Gamecocks are also on Jackson's radar for a potential visit. The 6'6 tight end is considered a three star recruit by Rivals and ranked as the 23rd best player at his position in the country.
Jackson has not set a time frame for when he might make his decision on what school to attend.
