Bills vs. Dolphins 2012: Behind Reggie Bush, Miami holds on

Behind Reggie Bush's three touchdown performance, the Miami Dolphins earned their seventh win on the season on Sunday after defeating divisional opponent Buffalo Bills at home by the score of 24-10.

As noted by Kevin Nogle of SB Nation's Dolphins blog, The Phinsider, Miami did an excellent job of running the ball, and it wasn't just Reggie Bush. In fact, Bush did most of his damage in the passing game, and it was a surprising name who found himself as the team's leading rusher.

The Dolphins were able to run the ball against the Bills' defense, totaling 182 rushing yards. Along with Tannehill's 45 yards, rookie running back Lamar Miller ran 10 times for 73 yards and Reggie Bush carried the ball 19 times for 65 yards.

Despite the victory, the Dolphins found themselves knocked out of the race for a spot in the playoffs after the Pittsburgh Steelers lost at home to the Cincinnati Bengals.

At 7-8 on the season, Miami isn't necessarily playing for nothing next week, though, as a win over the New England Patriots would give the team their eight win on the season. That would the franchise's most wins in a season since 2008.
