Jaguars injury report: Jones-Drew, 4 others miss Wednesday's practice

Jones-Drew finds himself in a well-known spot ... on the team's injury report.

Five Jacksonville Jaguars missed Wednesday's practice, according to the team's injury report. The non-participants included running back Maurice Jones-Drew (foot), fullback Greg Jones (thigh), center Brad Meester (foot), offensive lineman Uche Nwaneri (concussion) and linebacker Julian Stanford (hip). Jacksonville travels to Tennessee for its season finale this Sunday.

Jones-Drew leads the team in rushing despite not having played since October 21. He has 414 rushing yards and one touchdown on the season. Jones-Drew's 2012 highlight was a 177-yard effort in a win over Indianapolis on September 23. Greg Jones, meanwhile, has played the last four weeks after missing the entire month of November. The combined absences of Jones-Drew and Jones have hampered Jacksonville's rushing attack this season.

Meester is the Jaguars' starter at center. If he's unable to play Sunday, look for six-year veteran Steve Vallos to take his place. Nwaneri is currently slated as Jacksonville's starting left guard. It's unclear who will start in his place if he can't play on Sunday.

Jacksonville is 2-13 on the season.
