When the 2013 NFL Draft gets underway on Apr. 25 of next year, a defensive end who came all the way from Berlin, Germany to play college football could be taken second overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars. CBS' Rob Rang and Dane Brugler both believe Bjoern Werner from Florida State will be the second player off the board.
Werner isn't projected to be the only Seminole taken in the first round. Brugler believes cornerback Xavier Rhodes will be taken 11th overall by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, while Rang thinks Rhodes will go 24th to the Indianapolis Colts.
Two Florida Gators are also projected to be drafted in the first round by Rang and Brugler. Strong safety Matt Elam and defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd are expected to go 25th to the Baltimore Ravens and 26th to the Seattle Seahawks respectively by Brugler. Rang, meanwhile, thinks Elam will go 29th overall to the Patriots and Floyd will be drafted 30th by the Denver Broncos.
