When the Miami Heat visit the Charlotte Bobcats tonight, they'll be without their fourth leading scorer. The Associated Press is reporting guard Ray Allen will be out with a sore right shoulder. Allen was injured against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Christmas when he set a pick on Kendrick Perkins. Allen had just seven points and made only one shot, a three pointer, on the night.
Allen is averaging 11.7 points per game and has played in every game this season, coming off the bench for 25.7 minutes per contest.
The Heat and Bobcats are facing each other for the first time this season. Center Chris Bosh will be active for the game after taking a poke in the eye against the Thunder. Miami has won seven of their last eight games and are currently on a five game winning streak and have hit the century mark in 13 of their last 14 contests.
