Jacksonville def. Florida Christian, 89-66
Guard Dylan Fritsch scored a team-high 18 points to carry the Dolphins past Florida Christian on Monday night.
Fritsch sank four three-pointers and shot 50 percent from the field. Marcellous Bell helped the offense with 12 points, three assists and two rebounds off the bench. Forward Glenn Powell had a big night, scoring 11 points and pulling down a team-high eight rebounds.
AJ Williams scored 17 points to lead Florida Christian. Alex Sanchez finished with 16 points. The two combined to score exactly half of their team's points Monday.
The Dolphins improved to 4-5 with the win. They're back in action Friday at South Carolina.
Bethune-Cookman def. Stetson, 86-63
The Hatters could not contain B-C's Adrien Coleman, who shot 13-of-14 from the field and scored a game-high 29 points to lift Bethune-Cookman to a convincing win.
Coleman added eight rebounds, three assists and five steals to his box score last night. Three other Wildcats scored at least 13 points to help the offense.
Adam Pegg led the way for Stetson. He scored a team-high 17 points in 26 minutes on the floor. Aaron Graham came off the bench to score 12 points, grab four rebounds and four assists.
Stetson fell to 2-4 with the loss. The Hatters are back in action against Florida Atlantic on Thursday.
