2012 Miami Football Recruiting: Al Golden Puts Together Top-10 Class On National Signing Day

The Miami Hurricanes were in a precarious position heading into this recruiting season with the investigations from last offseason, but they were still able to produce a very strong recruiting class, something that used to be the custom in Coral Gables.

The Hurricanes were propelled by the late addition of cornerback Tracy Howard on Signing Day, and ended up with the 8th best class in the Nation according to Scout. They are also in the Top-10 of the Rivals rankings, coming in at No. 9 overall. They also rank the Hurricanes second in the ACC behind Florida State, who had just a monster year recruiting. This is the type of class Miami is used to getting on campus, and should form a solid foundation for the Hurricanes moving forward.
