Miami Vs. Maryland Score Update: Canes Dominate The Glass For 4-Point Halftime Lead

After one half in College Park, the Miami Hurricanes lead the Maryland Terrapins 35-31. The Canes trailed for much of the first half until a big run over the final ten minutes put them in front heading into the locker room. Miami held Maryland to just 22 percent from behind the arc to keep Mark Turgeon's club from going on a big run.

The Canes went on an 14-1 run at the under eight timeout and took their first lead of the game with just over six minutes remaining in the half. It was sparked by a personal 8-0 run led by Malcolm Grant, who hit from long-range and the free-throw line to put the Canes on top. Miami dominated Maryland on the interior, out-rebounding the Terps by seven. Kenny Kadji and the enormous Reggie Johnson did the Canes' work on the glass.
