2012 NFL Hall Of Fame Announcement: Former Miami Hurricane Cortez Kennedy One Of Six Inductees

Former Miami Hurricane Cortez Kennedy, who spent his entire 11-year NFL career with the Seattle Seahawks, has been chosen as one of six members of the 2012 Pro Football Hall of Fame Class.

Miami Hurricanes great Cortez Kennedy has been chosen as one of six members of the 2012 Pro Football Hall of Fame Class. Kennedy joins three other lineman, running back Curtis Martin, and senior committee selection Jack Butler. The announcement was made Saturday evening:

The 2012 Pro Football HOF class of 2012 is: Jack Butler, Willie Roaf, Curtis Martin, Cortez Kennedy, Chris Doleman, Dermontti Dawson

Jerome Bettis, who rushed for over 13,000 yards in his career, was passed over by the Selection Committee. Former coaching great Bill Parcells also did not get the call, and no wide receivers will be enshrined in Canton this year.
