Miami Hurricanes great Cortez Kennedy has been chosen as one of six members of the 2012 Pro Football Hall of Fame Class. Kennedy joins three other lineman, running back Curtis Martin, and senior committee selection Jack Butler. The announcement was made Saturday evening:
Jerome Bettis, who rushed for over 13,000 yards in his career, was passed over by the Selection Committee. Former coaching great Bill Parcells also did not get the call, and no wide receivers will be enshrined in Canton this year.
