The Super Bowl is over, and now is the time to talk about commercials, how annoying that one guy at your party was and the ratings from the big game. According to this tweet, the game just barely missed out on the all-time record set by the big game last year.
Small correx on the overnights. I'm now being told that it's a 47.8 (not 47.9), which is down a tenth of a ratings point from last year.

But there were some very high ratings for a specific portion of the event.
Madonna is more popular than the NFL. Source says the halftime show drew a 48.3 overnight, which is higher than the game's 47.8.

So the least football thing I've ever seen gets a higher rating than the game itself. What a World.
