Clippers Vs. Magic: Orlando Leads Los Angeles By Five After First Half

The Orlando Magic are looking to make it four wins in a row on Monday night and after one half at Amway Center, the Magic lead the Los Angeles Clippers 47-42. The Magic shot a blistering 55.6 percent from the floor in the first 24 minutes of play. All-Star Dwight Howard had a monster first half, hitting nine of 11 shots and finishing with 21 points. He's also grabbed seven boards already, dominating the Clippers front line.

Jason Richardson is the only other Magic player in double digits, adding 12 points in support of Howard. Blake Griffin has 11 points and six rebounds for the Clippers, but no other LA player is in double figures so far. Chris Paul has nine points but the Magic backcourt has kept him relatively under control. Orlando will need to keep up the hot shooting in the second half to outpace a dramatically different and improved Clippers squad.
